Nick qualified with an M.A. (Oxon) from St Catherine’s College, Oxford in French and German. His first career was in Advertising and Marketing Strategy. However, having always been fascinated by Dentistry, after 11 years in Advertising, he decided to retrain. Nick qualified with the Tutors’ Award from King’s College in Hygiene and Therapy. Nick’s special interests include the treatment of nervous and phobic patients, orthodontics and smoking cessation. Since qualifying, Nick has undertaken several ad hoc teaching roles both of fellow Hygienists and also Dental Nurses. He is also a published author in the management of patients with Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis.
